Firsthand experience

A foreign client wants to transfer part of their business but not at the full value. Your job is to find a solution that works legally and is acceptable in both your country and the client's. What do you do?

First, you look into the tax rules of both countries involved. This means checking international tax agreements and understanding different tax laws. Then, using your creativity and critical thinking, you explore various options. Maybe you change how the business's value is calculated, or you suggest paying over time, always making sure it follows the law.

The goal is to find a balance between what's legally right and what the client wants. This involves thinking out of the box while being careful with details. Solving such a complex problem not only helps the client but also shows the exciting and varied nature of being a Tax Manager.
